We are proud to offer patient-centered care for women in all stages of life and health.
Obstetrics
We offer pre-pregnancy evaluations for those having trouble getting or staying pregnant, as well as complete prenatal and post delivery care. As a solo, female physician, Dr. Sokolowski has years of experience performing vaginal and cesarean deliveries, caring for low and high risk pregnancies, including twins, triplets, high blood pressure, diabetes, preterm delivery, thyroid disease and fibroids. She sees her patients every visit (at least every 4 weeks) and gets to know you very well. You won't have to tell your story over and over to different providers. Having delivered nearly 100% of her maternity patients, she's with you every step of the way. In the delivery room, you won't be introducing yourself to your doctor and trusting your birth experience to the on-call doctor. Dr. Sokolowski will be there to deliver your baby, knowing your journey and your wishes. Dr. Sokolowski is board certified and can deliver at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest or St. Luke's Allentown Hospitals, so the choice is yours! Delivery by a doctor you know and trust in the hospital you choose.
Gynecology
From puberty through menopause, we offer medical and/or surgical choices for treatment of irregular, painful periods, acne, mood swings, infections, abnormal pap results, ovarian cysts, fibroids, endometriosis, urinary symptoms, dense breast counselling, breast problems, hot flashes, osteoporosis and more. Routine yearly exams, pap smear/HPV screening and preventative counseling are offered in a private, comfortable setting. She is available 24 hours a day for emergencies: care by someone you know-even after hours.
Teenage Years
It's difficult to talk about some changes you might be going through. Our office is all girls, so we are familiar with what you need and the questions you're trying to ask. Dr. Sokolowski is patient and understanding when you have problems, questions or need to talk about something specific. When it's time for your first gyn visit, she will explain it step by step and help to make you comfortable.
Reproductive Years
Whether you are seeking contraception, assistance getting pregnant or are just trying to balance everything going on in your life, Dr. Sokolowski can offer advice regarding family planning, timing, safety and prevention/contraception as well as PMS and libido concerns. She offers hysteroscopic and single-incision tubal ligation surgery. She takes the time to address your concerns and find the right plan for you. With 18 years' experience, she has helped many women through this time in life.
Post-Menopause
Dr. Sokolowski can help you navigate the many changes occurring at this time such as body and hormonal and relationship changes as well as recommendations and options for management. She will help you identify what is abnormal so you can be confident in your personal health management. She will get to know you, so she can help you through.
