D'NESE SOKOLOWSKI, M.D.
BIO
Dr. D'nese Sokolowski is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She attended William Allen High School in Allentown and graduated valedictorian. Dr. Sokolowski completed her undergraduate studies at Lehigh University in Bethlehem and earned a B.S. in Molecular Biology. She graduated with high honors and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa during her junior year. Dr. Sokolowski earned her doctorate in medicine at Thomas Jefferson University’s Jefferson Medical College, now known as Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia, and did her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
EVOLUTION
Dr. Sokolowski began her career 18 years ago in a group practice. Since then she's cared for generations of women and delivered thousands of babies. She was frustrated that she couldn't give patients the time and attention she felt they deserved. She started her solo, female practice in 2005 to provide patients with a personalized alternative to large group practices. She has full privileges at Lehigh Valley Hospital and St. Luke's Hospital in Allentown, providing in-network care for either hospital but as an independent physician. You choose your hospital.

PERSONAL
When she's not at work, Dr. Sokolowski enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
Her family has rescue cats and rescue birds. To relax, she enjoys socializing with friends,
redecorating and reading true crime novels.

All female, experienced, with the practice greater than ten years, knows how to make patients feel at ease during difficult times. Telephone calls answered by receptionist you know, not a recording.

Our Facility
HISTORY & MISSION
Dr. Sokolowski started her solo practice in 2005 after working in two different group practices where she felt she did not get a chance to really know her patients. It was particularly difficult caring for someone she never met, nor developed a trusting relationship with. Since then, she has grown her practice in the Lehigh Valley and has delivered thousands of babies, nearly all patients are delivered by her personally. By growing along with her patients, she has been able to give more complete care when something specific comes up, and she enjoys visiting with patients at routine visits when all is going well.
